This week we will read several winter classics from around the world. We will hear The Mitten, The Hat and Snow. There will be lots of activities with the themes of these folk tales.

We will be studying animals and winter. We will talk about migration and hibernation.

On Thursday, February 2nd we will know if we have six more weeks of winter or is spring really here! We will hear stories about THE GROUND HOG, how and when the tradition started and we will learn a couple of cute songs.

This week we join in all Catholic schools across the nation to celebrate Catholic Schools Week. It is a week of special events that celebrate the students, faculty and the parents of our special gift, your child. There is a book fair, on TUESDAY STUDENTS MAY WEAR PAJAMAS TO SCHOOL, there will be a birthday bash and a charity fair.
